David Moore
As co-founder and senior partner, David brings over four decades of hands-on agricultural experience to Texas Berry Nurseries, where he manages day-to-day operations on the ground in Texas. After earning his B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University in 1983, David and his wife, Vickie, settled in Dalhart to join the family farming operation. A rooted West Texan at heart, David takes immense pride in his family—which includes three children and eight grandchildren—and in building a lasting legacy through sustainable, high-quality local farming.
Ben Moore
Ben serves as co-founder, guiding strategy and execution for Texas Berry Nurseries while actively working in the berry breeding industry in Santa Cruz County, California. He holds a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech, an M.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Western Seminary, and an MBA from West Texas A&M. Living on the West Coast with his wife and their three children, Ben leverages his industry insight and dual-region perspective to connect cutting-edge breeding practices directly to southern growers.
